After School and Kids Club Performing Arts
With Theatre Street Performing Arts
Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath are excited to be teaming up with local performing arts organisation Theatre Street to provide new and exciting opportunities for your children at our regular performing arts studio, Monkey Puzzle Upstairs.
Theatre Street have been delivering dance, drama and singing classes to young people for twelve years and are registered with the BTDA which is accredited by the Council for Dance Education and Training. Together we will be developing a programme of arts activities for your children in our newly converted studios above the nursery at 304 Broadway, Bexleyheath.
Monkey Puzzle Upstairs will be dedicated to providing a safe and creative environment where children can keep physically active, develop performing skills that will last a lifetime and build their confidence and co-ordination.
The programme falls into three categories:
- Nursery Dance: These classes take place during the day for children enrolled at Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath nursery. Each session is tailor-made for the age group and are introductions to performing arts for babes, tots and pre-school children.
- After School Club: Between 3.15-6.15 there is the After School Club which each day features a dance, drama or music based performing arts session. There is also time to do homework, rest, play games, ICT, have fun, eat tea… alongside their performing arts session.
- Kids’ Club(performing Arts): The Kids’ Club Performing Arts features a range of classes in dance, drama and music based activities for children of primary school age. These sessions will take place between 6.30-8.00pm weekdays, on Saturdays during the day and during school holidays.
Fees information is available upon request. All fees should be paid direct to Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath and are in addition to regular nursery fees.
