Our staff care as much as you care. From the managers to the key personnel, we place enormous emphasis on ensuring our highly trained staff offer more than just the relevant qualifications.
All of the staff at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries are selected for their caring nature. This enables us to provide both a warm stimulating environment for the children and a harmonious working atmosphere for our staff.
Staff range from all various ages, giving the children an excellent combination of experience and fresh ideas. The vast majority of our staff are either NNEB (National Nursery Examination Board) or equivalent, or participating in the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Early Years and Childcare.
New staff attend a working second interview so that we can see how they interact with children and our team and the views of our existing team members are sought before any decisions are made to employ. Good team dynamics are extremely important and many of our parent’s comment on the fact that the teams are so solid and fantastic.
We believe that constant reflection and training to improve practitioner knowledge and understanding is vital in maintaining service quality. Life experiences and staff personalities are also very important.
We support our staff through daily coaching, on-going structured training and formal and informal review processes so that they are confident to deliver a caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which your children can grow and learn.
Our staff are also incentivised and rewarded for delivering the highest standard of care. This keeps them motivated and ensures commitment.
