Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath and Monkey Puzzle Welling are proud to partner with Truly BeLoved, a charity that is deeply rooted in our local community and close to our hearts.
Truly BeLoved was created by Parv, whose journey began with a promise made to his late mother. After years of caring for his brother, who has Down syndrome and a cleft palate, Parv saw first-hand the life‑changing impact that love, positivity, and the right support can have on a child and their family.
When his mother passed away, Parv vowed to continue her legacy of compassion by supporting other children and families facing similar challenges. From that promise, Truly BeLoved was born – a charity built on love, faith, and the belief that every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and truly beloved.
Because the charity was created by our nursery owner and is based within our local community, Truly BeLoved has become an integral part of our nurseries’ journey and identity.
What Truly BeLoved Does
Truly BeLoved provides long‑term, meaningful support to children and young people under the age of 18, as well as their families. This support includes, but is not limited to:
- Specialist care and therapy treatments
- Access to essential equipment
- Grants to support other children’s charities
The charity currently provides ongoing support to children and families over many years, ensuring help is there when it is needed most.
Our Nurseries’ Journey With Truly BeLoved
Truly BeLoved has been a focal point that brings our nursery communities together with one shared purpose.
- Our nursery parents have made both financial donations and donated items to the charity shop
- Parents and staff regularly work together on cake sales and fundraising events
- Our teams take part in dressing‑up days, fun runs, and community challenges
- In 2026, our nursery teams will be taking on the Twin Peaks Challenge to raise further funds
- Members of our nursery teams volunteer their time working in the charity shop
- Our staff have supported the charity hands‑on – from helping build the website, to sorting stock, making deliveries, and bringing the shop to life
Together, our team of over 60 staff members can name the children whose lives have been directly supported through the charity – something that makes the impact personal, real, and deeply meaningful.
Supporting the Wider Community
Our commitment extends beyond the nursery and the children we directly support:
- We are currently collecting donations for the local food bank
- We make regular donations to local food banks
- We recently supported a disabled local resident with learning difficulties by helping him replace a broken television, ensuring he could stay connected and supported
Our Impact So Far
Our nurseries have proudly contributed around £100,000 to Truly BeLoved to date, with additional funds raised through the charity shop and community fundraising activities. Together, this support helps provide long‑term care and assistance to children and families up to the age of 18.
More than fundraising alone, Truly BeLoved has given us a shared mission – binding our nurseries, families, and teams together as one community, working with love, compassion, and purpose.
